Forrest Gump was a great film. I haven't seen this new "Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons" film, and haven't really cared to do so, at least not at full theater pricing. I didn't even know it was written by the same guy who wrote Gump.
I have yet to bother researching who made this video, though it sounds like it was played as a spoof at an awards show. If this is accurate, it sure seems a lot like the guy not only plagiarized a lot of ideas, but he plagiarized them from himself. It just received 13 Oscar nods yesterday. I guess sticking to a formula really works to sell tickets.
